Save-the-date Invitation
Jenny and Mari were getting married and they wanted me to create a save-the-date for them. They wanted a modern look but at the same time keep formal feel because it was a wedding.

Initial Concepts
Here are four examples of ideas for the save-the-date. They were toying with either a modern or art deco inspired design so I came up with a couple for each.
A used Baskerville and Futura to create a unique contrast. The serif and the sans-serif combination creates a modern but elegant touch.
We picked a complementary blue color
envelope to send the cards.
